A legal register that stays honest

How to keep a legal register that separates statute, guidance, permits and benchmarks.

One row, one authority level

A workable register records the instrument, the section, the version, the URL, whether it is in force, who it applies to, and the evidence that would show the duty is being handled. Guidance does not become an offence. A benchmark does not become Guyana law. A model contract is not every operator's contract.
